I came into this rehab a broken man, having been in 3 previous rehabs which I wont name, I was obviously very anxious and worried and physically very ill. Firstly from the minute I arrived I knew this place was different, all the staff and I mean all the staff and very very caring from Justin the Manager to Steve/Lee the chef. I was very anxious upon arrival and the night staff Dave & Janine that night were amazing, they had the time to properly listen and talk through my anxieties and nothing was too much trouble even at 2am in the morning. The detox staff were fantastic again all very professional and I really did feel a sense of safety that they were going to get me physically better, this eased my anxiety, again they would listen when I had a feeling of anxiety. The actual therapy sessions are very varied and I have learnt things about myself and addiction in general that I had not learnt at other rehab units. You do get a feeling that they actually care and that your input is valued and you are being actually listened to and not just another revolving person through the door. My keyworker Paul was fantastic, again spending a great deal of time with me and identifying issues and a plan of action upon leaving the facility. Most the staff have been through some form of recovery journey, so you do get a feeling that they understand what you are going through as it isn't easy to make the decision and make the call and admit that you need help, there is no shame in that. The rooms are lovely very well looked after by the cleaning staff and the food is great, this enables you to spend a great deal of time working on yourself. The rehab as a whole is fairly relaxed you wont get shouted at at all, the staff really do just want to get you physically & mentally well so that you can have a better life without active addiction. I believe I am leaving Ocean Recovery to do that with the correct tools and lead a better more fulfilled grateful life. So thank you all genuinely from the bottom of my heart.

My last day of a 28 day programme at Cassio, what can I say? The best decision I ever made, the staff are amazing, kind, considerate, nothing is too much and they always know everyone's name so a very personal touch. The group sessions are so informative and with lots of humour thrown in. Food, fantastic Alan the chef is great. Therapists and practitioners are top notch! Highly recommend Cassio, and the more you put into your recovery the more you will get out. I am leaving a different person and with tools to work the programme once those gates open! When I walked through those doors, I was broken. I had no idea how I was going to rebuild my life. But from day one, people like Brian, Sophie, Dave, Sam and Phil showed me that recovery was not only possible it was within reach. Not through judgment, but through genuine understanding, lived compassion, and unwavering support. Their lived experience mattered more than I can ever explain. They got it the chaos, the shame, the fear because they had walked that road too. And because of that, they knew how to walk beside me without ever making me feel less than. They believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Today, I celebrate two whole years clean and sober. I am a better mother, a better friend, and a better version of myself than I ever thought possible. And that’s because of the heart, dedication, and love of these support workers. They do so much more than their job description they change lives. They saved mine. I will be forever grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you for helping me find myself again. I can't rate Cassiobury Court residential clinic more highly! My 14 day stay (after two previous stays at different clinics) was amazing - constructive, enlightening and enjoyable. My positive experience flowed through right from the very start of the process with my telephone conversations with the admissions team, and once we'd had an initial chat and an assessment, they arranged for a driver to pick me up at 10 o'clock the next morning to drive me the 140 miles from West Dorset to the clinic. The staff were incredibly welcoming, caring and non-judgmental. I was able to start my detox only an hour or so after my arrival after having a Zoom call with the Doctor. From then on the medical team were always on hand if and when necessary. A high ratio of the staff are in recovery themselves which means that they knew personally what I was going through, which was both comforting and motivating. My room was clean, light and bright and I had everything that I needed. The food was of a very high standard and the chef was flexible and willing to go that extra mile for any special requests. The group sessions were varied, interesting and run by highly knowledgeable staff. These were backed up by excellent 1-1 sessions with my allocated key worker and allocated therapist. I can't stress enough how much new information I learnt in just 14 days. I have left Cassiobury Court with a renewed determination to start working the 12 step programme and to do what I'm told - as the people who have been giving me this advice are proof to me that I too can change my life for the better as they have. Ten out of 10 for me. I can’t even thank Ocean enough for the help and care I received from all of the staff. The therapy was second to none. I entered the recovery centre 7 weeks ago and I have not thought about picking up a drink once. Sophie my Key worker was amazing. She really helped me with my demons. Although it is intense and they dig deep into your trauma but that’s what I needed which I haven’t received in other rehabs. It is tailored to the individual which I haven’t received before. Everyone from house keeping kitchen staff nurses therapists and everyone else go way and beyond their duties. I can’t thank them enough for the therapy love care and support . Thank you All Nicola ♥️
